  • Automated import of PVT reports in Calsep Excel format. A PVTsim installation comes with sample Calsep Excel PVT reports.

  • Automated import of fluid compositions and PVT data in PRODML XML version 2.1 format.

  • Depth gradient option extended to possibly account for the increased compositional grading caused by viscosity effects (SPE 205887-MS).
• FAST SLIMTUBE
  • Changed from molar-based approach to volumetric approach.

FLOW ASSURANCE

• ASPHALTENE SCREENING TOOL
  • Outputs report that compiles De Boer plots, SARA based methods and EoS simulations for evaluating risk of asphaltene problems.
• ASPHALTENE PHASE ENVELOPE
  • Allowed for gas condensate fluids.
• SARA DATA
  • Can be stored in fluid database.
• WAX DATA
  • PVTsim Nova database extended to hold wax appearance point, amount of wax in STO and amount of wax precipitation with decreasing temperature (Wax Precipitation Curve – WPC).
